Charolais commands a Gallery at Expo

A large gallery was present for the Charolais Breeders Bull sale at Beef Expo this week.

With an impressive lineup of bulls on offer, International Judge, John Tilson selected Whananaki Dexter D84 as his choice for the Supreme Champion Charolais title.

Bred by Whananaki Coastal Charolais Stud at Hikurangi the impressive bull will be sold by on farm auction later this year. The Reserve Champion Bull, Silverstream Domino D80, sold on account of the Silverstream Charolais Stud of Christchurch, fetched a very pleasing $8,500 in the sale.

The Charolais Sale average was $4,150.
