News from the 2009 Beef Expo

Nouvelle Champagne - Champion and Reserve Champion
of All Breeds.

Congratulations to Peter & Chris Mikkelsen from Ohaupo who won the Supreme Champion Charolais with “Nouvelle Champagne C2”.

Nouvelle also became the Allbreeds Reserve Champion in the Champion of Champions.

Forestview Cheerio - 2nd

2nd place in the Charolais section went to the Clements Family with Forest View Cheerio.

Silverstream Carbine - 3rd

3rd placing was Silverstream Carbine. Congratulations to the Clements and Fisher families. Nouvelle Champagne also came through the trial as the Best Weight Gain bull.

For the first time this year the Charolais Breed offered 6 heifers for sale at Beef Expo

. Thankyou to those vendors who put forward some of their top heifers.
