Congratulations to Brent & Anna on their recent Wedding.

At a gathering of around 300 guests, many Cattle breeders from around New Zealand and Australia, joined Anna & Brent on their magical day in getting married at their new property along the Akoroa Highway just out of Christchurch.

It was a marriage with a difference, with Anna being led up the aisle by  Hereford and Charolais heifers.

The weather turned on a brilliant day for the occasion.

Charolais Breeders Open Day

An Open Day was held in November at the Grassways Stud with members from both Charolais Societies attending

The main focus for the day was Cow & calf production in which the tour consisted on looking at the 2yr heifers and 3yr heifers with calves at foot

The day concluded with a meal and round the table discussion on various topics.

AGM

The 2012 AGM will be held at Beef Expo time again.  Time and place to be finalised.

Remember this year's World Congress is in the UK.   Some members have already booked this tour which as always will be a great trip with lots of fun to be had.
