Helpful Hints for registering a Pedigree Stud
Associate Membership: Entitles the member to receive the breed publications (newsletter and magazine) and various other mailouts
Junior Membership: Entitlements as per Associate member for any person/s under 20 years of age.
Breeding Membership: Entitles the member to receive ALL breed society mailouts and be eligible to register and record their animals with the Society. Have full voting rights.
Before an application can be completed a breeder MUST complete the following sections:
- Section 1) Name
- Section 2) Postal Address
- Section 3) Telephone & AHB Number
- Section 4) Membership Name (if different from (1)
- New Members Signature
- Nominating members (x2) Signatures one can be from the Council Table if known.
- Herd Prefix
- Tattoo
Herd Name/Stud Prefix: shall consist of not more than two words and is generally the name of the farm eg sunshine farm's prefix could be "Sunshine".
All animals recorded against this stud will be named using the prefix.
eg animal 006 could be "Sunshine Daisy 6"
3 digit Tattoo: The tattoo is used for identification purposes much the same as the Prefix. Tattoo must be 3 digits and can consist of 3 letters and/or numbers.
Eg. Sunshine Farm could have "SUN" or "SS1".
